Our network of Preferred Providers plays a critical role in ensuring every injury receives the right follow up care. By partnering with trusted Orthopedic, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, Dental, and Optical specialists in each Texas County, we create a clear and reliable pathway for parents and guardians during emergencies. These relationships strengthen our Transitional Care process while reducing confusion and provide;

Sports related injuries that require surgery are most often the result of overuse or sudden traumatic events. Common procedures in sports medicine include arthroscopic and minimally invasive repairs such as:

• Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction

• Rotator cuff and shoulder tendon repair

• Wrist and ankle tendon repair

• Achilles tendon repair

• Meniscal repair of the knee or hip

The procedures are frequently preformed using arthroscopic techniques allowing for smaller incisions, faster recovery, and a quicker return to play. Our Preferred Providers are fully capable of preforming these surgeries and delivering the specialized follow up care need to support a safe effective recovery. Families are encouraged to connect with their preferred orthopedic specialist to determine the most appropriate surgical plan when needed.

Urgent Care Clinic

Our Preferred Providers manage a wide range of immediate medical needs from bumps and bruises to animal bites and asthma attacks. In sports fractures are common especially acute nondisplaced fractures that require prompt evaluation and stabilization. For nearly any minor illness or injury, families can rely on our Preferred Providers for timely and professional treatment that helps student athletes feel better faster while ensuring they receive the appropriate next steps in care. 

Emergency Room

ER Trauma Centers provide a higher, more specialized level of care than a standard emergency department. The type and severity of an injury determine which trauma level is most appropriate for the patient. Our Partners include Level I through Level IV Trauma Centers, and each are staffed 24 hours a day by emergency medicine physicians with general surgeons and anesthesiologists available as quickly as possible to support critical cases. These Centers are also equipped to manage common facial and head trauma including lacerations, nasal injuries, dental trauma, soft tissue damage, and head trauma ensuring patients receive rapid evaluation and appropriate level of specialty care. 

Dental and Vision

Dental and Vision Trauma often occur during sports and school activities and having reliable specialty partners ensures families receive fast, appropriate follow up care. Our Preferred Providers are equipped to evaluate and manage a full range of dental and ocular injuries. From chipped or avulsed teeth to corneal abrasions, foreign body injuries, and blunt force trauma to the face or eyes. Their ability to deliver prompt specialty care creates a clear, dependable pathway for parents and guardians ensuring students receive the right treatment without delay.

The JET Team is composed of skilled medical professionals with strong clinical backgrounds who brings advanced assessment, trauma care experience, and disciplined readiness to every event. Our Team provides on-site Sports Medicine Trauma First Aid and is dedicated to creating safer environments for athletes, student body, and spectators.
